Hi, we are Cooper & Logan!
Husband & wife DIY duo, adventure partners, and dog parents to our 10 year old Vizsla, Porter. We are united by an insatiable hunger to learn, a goal of intentional living, and anything outdoors! Whether mountain biking, hiking, skiing, canoeing, or climbing, we are happiest when we are deep in the backcountry or surrounded by nature.
Both formally trained scientists -- Cooper an engineer, and Logan a wildlife & conservation biologist -- our unique skill sets sum to allow us to take on questionably large passion projects with enough determination (or at least stubbornness!) to see them through. Before tackling the current project of building our dream overland truck, Rufus, we spent a year traveling across North America in a self-converted Sprinter van, covering over 35,000 miles from Maine to Alaska, Mexico, and countless places in between. We fell in love with this mode of travel and have not looked back since.
While we are New-England natives, we’ve recently moved west and settled in a small mountain town nestled in the dry side of the North Cascades. By sharing what we have learned through our experiences & journeys, we want to provide that push for you get going on your next adventure! We hope that you follow along!
